Menopause- a time of transformation

¿Did you know our breathing is influenced by our hormones, and we can become dysfunctional breathers at this moment in time? 

For some women, it can mean a major time of suffering, and for others, it can mean a time of transformation. 
I like to think of it as a transformation period. 
We are transforming into the women we want to be. We no longer have the need nor the ability to create life in form of another being, but we have the ability to create life in many other ways. 

It is not a moment of failure, of sorrow, of downhill... but rather a moment of going for new adventures, moving forward with enthusiasm and creation, and definitely climbing up to be the true woman we want to be. 

But, nevertheless, some of us do have some niggly issues that create havoc in our bodies, on our emotions, our sleep, and our general well-being. 
Our hormones are all over the place...our brain is all over the place .....our emotions are all over the place...and our breathing is all over the place. 

Yet we can do something about it through awareness, understanding, becoming empowered, and taking charge of this transition period, rather than just be living it and being led by those pesky symptoms. 

Everything is linked... How we breathe, our brain, our hormones, our emotions....our body...They all work together...If one is out of sync, they will all be out of sync...
How do we improve our breathing? Awareness.... changing dysfunctional habits...Transforming

How do we improve our brain functions? Awareness....changing our breathing, being more self-aware, learning new things... exercise and diet..... Transformation & Prevention.

How do we improve our hormone activity? Awareness ..... improving our breathing, exercise, diet (supplements, medical advice)... Transformation

How do we improve our emotions? Awareness.... bringing attention to our breath, stillness, contact in nature, dancing, singing, taking care of our body, bringing our attention to the now.......Transformation

How do we improve our bodies? Awareness....breathing functionally, improving our posture, improving our diet, reducing intake of substances our bodies don't tolerate so well anymore (like alcohol), moving, walking briskly, cardio exercise, strength training, swimming, being in the sun.......Transformation

Breath is the link to all..... 

This is a "ME" time. 
The more empowered you feel within yourself the more you will have to give to the world. 

I offer an ongoing  4-week course where we delve deeper into transforming our breath, re-align our posture, and clear emotions, and strengthen our core and pelvic floor. 

4 weeks - 1 (2 hrs) class a week 
1 hour of theory / 1 hour of practical exercises.
