Do you have dysfunctional breathing?

Take your BOLT score

BOLT Score = Body Oxygen Level Test, helps us evaluate whether you have functional or dysfunctional breathing.

Breathing in and out through your nose in a very natural calm way. In and Out, and on the second exhale (breath OUT), without taking a breath in, press the timer, pinch your nose closed and hold your breath until you feel the first need to breathe in. This may be a contraction of your diaphragm, your throat, or a big desire to breathe in once again. When you feel this, stop the timer and resume breathing in and out through your nose in a gentle calm manner.
If you have to breathe in through your mouth, gasp, or take a big breath, you have held for far too long.
This is not a test to see how long you can hold your breath. It is a test to have an indication of the quality of your breathing.

Results:- Under 25  indication of Dysfunctional breathing. Seek advice.

FUNCTIONAL BREATHING FOR OPTIMAL MENTAL, PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL HEALTH

We can go weeks without eating, days without drinking, but only minutes without breathing. Yet we don't even spend one second a day being conscious of the quality of our breath.

We breathe, of course, we breathe, but do we breathe efficiently?
Studies suggest otherwise...

Do you snore, wake up during the night, have sleep apnea, suffer from asthma, anxiety, panic attacks? Wake up feeling tired, don't have any energy, can't focus or concentrate?
Do you feel depressed and down in the dumps?

DO YOU HAVE HEAVY FAST BREATHING?
DO YOU BREATHE THROUGH YOUR MOUTH?

If the answer to any of the above is Yes, then you have dysfunctional breathing.
Do you have a BOLT score lower than 25?  Yes? Then you have dysfunctional breathing.
