Somewhere down the line in our lives, we lost the ability to breathe correctly. Bad breathing habits have settled in, and now we go about our lives breathing at a minimum of our capacity.
This capacity is not only on a mechanical level but also on a biochemistry and neuropsychological level.
It is so important for our children to have functional optimal breathing for their physical development, their mental development, their emotional wellbeing and for their future.
We are at a major turning point where there is much more information out there. There are many qualified instructors, authors, and breathing schools that have taken on the mission to help people change their breathing habits and reach their full potential.

Our nose is for breathing, our mouth is for eating and talking. When we are breathing through our mouth, we are not benefiting from all the health and biochemical benefits that our upper airways hold.
When we breathe through our mouth habitually, including while we sleep, we will have problems getting a good night's sleep.
We can develop chronic illnesses, especially with the respiratory system, and we can have chronic tiredness, fatigue, and stress amongst many other things.
If a child is breathing through their mouth, they will have issues with facial and dental development.
Their jaws will not align properly, the tongue will not lie in its correct position.
Speech and dental structure can be affected as well as a high probability of developing enlarged tonsils, adenoids, respiratory illnesses, chronic sore throats, bunged up noses and a long etc.
If a child is not sleeping properly at night, we cannot expect him/her to be able to give their full potential at school, at sports, and or at home.
The quality and quantity of children's breathing will influence their body, posture, the quality of their sleep, their academic results, resilience to cope with stressful situations like exams, their overall health (physical and mental).
Oxygen Advantage is not another breathing technique, it is a re-programming of our breathing mechanics, our brain, and a balancing of our respiratory and body chemistry.
It is much more than a breathing technique. It is literally life-changing.
So how do I work?
I work online and in person. I like to evaluate each adult, child/parent so to adapt the re education and progress to each individual./family.
All the exercises are adapted to each person's busy life, so to not to create any extra stress or interference with daily activities.
Children's breathing exercises are explained and carried out in a fun way, with the full collaboration of parent and child.
Emails are sent out with explanations of sessions and audios if necessary.
The breathing programs are 4 weeks, which can then be extended if necessary but generally, 4 weeks is enough to have integrated the exercises and have experienced changes and improvement in breathing patterns, sleep, stress management, and overall health.
